2019 F Michael Moreno

Postby WBR Tom » Fri Jun 09, 2017 8:40 am

Coach Huss working hard on Moreno, a 6'6" forward out of Kentucky with interest from Vanderbilt, Indiana, Louisville, Tennessee, and Purdue. Here's a story and some highlights on him from Vanderbilt's Rivals site after a visit there in January.

He visited Creighton yesterday:

Pulling it off would legitimize Huss hire.

Had the privilege of meeting Michael and his family. Amazingly nice young man. High character. He would fit really well at Creighton.

Every recruit always says about the same thing after visits. And you know that can't be true. Just once I want a recruit to say "That place really sucked"

in the video his game reminded me of a smaller Dane Watts - likes to scrap around the paint, can hit the outside shot...nice.

I agree, although hopefully not about Creighton! If they were honest, at least the school in question would know where they stood and could move on to other players. Not naming anyone in particular :)
