Nick Richards 2017 C

Postby bluejayfan00 » Tue Apr 26, 2016 11:00 am

Nick Richards is a 6'11 5 star center from New Jersey, and I know we've had an offer out to him for awhile. On 247 Sports, it says our interest is "warm." Usually that means nothing, especially from 247. I haven't heard much on him connected to us besides the offer. Anyone have some info?

I have only sent that he has a medium interest in Creighton. Bleacher report made a bold prediction that he may go to Creighton or Seton Hall. Other than that no other info. There was a Duke recruiting site who referred him having mid-major offers from teams like Creighton

Buford... do you have links to that info?

Here is an old S'Cuse article (2015) on BR.

GtmoBlue I wish I did, but info on his interest in Creighton is hard to find. Do you think the bluejay banter guys may know anything?

GtmoBlue this is the Duke report basically saying that after Creighton offered all of the traditional powerhouses began to take it interest in him.

Based upon that old Syracuse article, it will probably be difficult to find his interest level in any university, until HS and visits begins next fall. You'd do better to ask those people directly. They still post here on occasion.

I noticed a trend of late since we landed Ballock and Alexander. The elite offer literally same day as us. Ruffling feathers my friends.

.

Agreed. It appears our 2017 efforts are getting some respect as well as bearing fruit. Also an attempt to undermine an early offer.

I have also noticed this trend. Did this kind of start with Mychal Mulder? Who by the way averaged about a half a minute a game for UK.
