Nice looking shot he has and not afraid to drive to the bucket.

He's got some nice offers, Virginia Tech, Iowa State, Memphis, Ole Miss, Iowa among others. Hopefully him being close by gives us an edge...As a freshman, shot 40% from 3 and 80% FT shooter.

I asked Thik Bol, his teammate at Iowa Western last year, about him. Here's what he said:

"Left handed guard, can shoot from anywhere, really good handles and passing abilities"

Stats: 13.6 PPG, 2.1 RPG, 2.3 APG, 46% FG, 40.2% 3FG, 86% FT, 2.1 AST/TO, 20 starts.

It looks like he might be related to former Bluejay D'Angalo Jackson. Pretty sure that's him in Donovan's header pic on Twitter and both come from the same high school...

On the 16-17 roster we will have Watson Albert and Stewart all playing the 1. Like the player but I feel like that (1?) '16 ship available could be better spent elsewhere. Obviously you take talent where you can but maybe the coaches should look at options at the wing/center positions

Only one of those that is a pure 1 is Watson who will be a senior. You cannot have too many 1's.

Whether you agree or not, the staff is looking for another PG as evidenced by interest in Ponds, Jarreau, Jackson etc......
