6'3" SG who is transferring from Charlotte. Shot 46% from three last season. Would have three years of eligibility remaining.

Is unofficially visiting South Carolina today, and said Creighton, Butler, VCU, and St. Joe's are also in line to get visits.

Considering that Boston College was recruiting him out of HS, this sounds like another Murphy recruit.

Highlights from his senior year. He spots up a good 4-5 feet behind the high school line numerous with no hesitation. Also looks like a pretty good athlete with decent body control and ball handling on some drives to the rim

averaged 8.4 , 2.2rpg and 1.2 apg in 25 minutes as a true freshman. Shot 48% from the field on 3.2 - 6.6 fga. Also took less than 3 3pointers a game. Looks like a guy that could easily be in the 12-15 ppg range if he played more/ got more shots

Like the stats but seems like Foster will be taking most of the minutes at SG unless we go small and he plays at the wing.

Seems like this guy is very similar to Foster, not sure how he would fit in.

We spent most of last season playing a 6'3" guy at the three.

I gotta admit - I really like this kid's game and think he would be a good fit for the kind of system we run.

Seems like more of a shooter while Foster is more of a slasher. Also, IMO, Foster's only chance at the NBA is as a point guard due to his size so we could see him working on his handles this redshirt year and taking some time at the point to back up Mo Watson in Mo's senior year and then more time there for Foster in his senior season.

At first glance, I see 46% from three. But that dropped to 37% in conference - not bad, but not sure its worth asking GG to give up his 'ship. I think we will have a number of guys hitting better than that this year. He also had a less than 1 to 1 assist to TO ratio in conference, and only got a couple of boards a game despite playing more than 26 minutes a game. He was apparently a four-star out of HS, so there must be something there. And, he seems to be looking forward to spending a year getting stronger and improving his game, so the attitude is in the right place. I think maybe a good get if he came here who would hopefully help out down the road, but I wonder if we really want to spend one of our two scholarships we have to give on him at this point.
