Surprised the recruitniks whiffed on this one. Oh wait, I'm a recruitnik!! Looks like we have a visitor on campus. Any other words from those more connected?

@RyanJamesMN: Rivals150 forward Michael Hurt of Rochester(MN) had Creighton in to see him Monday. Hurt will unofficially visit Creighton Sept 27th weekend.

Very interesting that this slipped under the radar. Looks like he's a three or four-star forward depending on the recruiting service, with offers from Minnesota and Iowa State among others.

Actually it was me 10 days ago, but nobody cares. It has been easy to overlook the 2016 kids until we missed on McQuaid but now that the 2015 pool is getting thin, it's more interesting to look ahead.

Jet, you will have a chance to re-engage later. In two years, McQuaid will realize that there are too many players at his position and transfer from MSU. He will reopen his recruitment and visit Creighton. We will be in his top two, but he will accept a last second offer and enroll in North Carolina.

Haha, exactly, he's already rejected us twice, part of me says just cut the cord on him but I know that's not how it works sometimes....

Look at Ricky K! I don't expect McQuaid to end up that well for us in the future

Any update on this after the visit? It does sound like he's on Minnesota's radar, so I'd be curious to know if there is interest enough to get him away from the home state team.

I like what I've heard about his game and he sounds like a versatile scorer, shooter who can play the 3 or 4.
