Ronnie one of the top newcomers on the list, all the way at #84. Leon at #134.

Big East with a pretty strong showing (Marquette would have been if they could have kept their recruits)

Georgetown with #23, #50, #68, and #126 players
Seton Hall with #16, #53 and #127
Xavier with #34, #83, #105 and #138
Providence with #61, #69 and #89
Nova with #85 and #95

This is a question to generate conversation more than anything, but do you think Creighton will ever get a Top 20 Rivals recruit? Top 10?

My gut reaction is that it'd be very, very tough (but not impossible). The type of player that would want to play at Creighton that would be in the Top 10 or 20 would also likely be on the short list of schools like Duke, Stanford, etc. We'd have to beat out those types of program, plus all the other usual suspects, to get that level of projected talent. Just wondering if anyone has a differing opinion.

We had more top 150 recruits than the Big 10 - despite having less teams - but this conference is in shambles.

:roll:

It'll have to be a Isaiah Whitehead situation like at Seton Hall, local boy that wants to stay home.

Not out of the question, but not likely in the immediate future.

More to it than that...we would have to hire the kid's HS basketball coach as an assistant coach like Seton Hall did too...

...and hire his Mom as the new shooting coach! :lol:

Short answer: Yes.

In the 2015 class.

Breakdown by conference:
#ACC 28
#SEC 23
#B1G 21
#BigEast 20
#Pac12 18
#Big12 10
#AAC 7

Per school:
ACC = 28/15 or 1.87 per school
Sec = 1.64
B1G = 1.5
BE = 2.0

Not too shabby...
