My daughter is the 17th, I'll keep an eye out too.

Nephew is the 16th.

But also - isn't Fedor 22 or something? Be weird taking freshman classes when you're the only one who can buy beer. Although I'm guessing he'll be mostly online or something. As the world turns - so does the STUDENT athlete experience...

It just occurred to me: this guy has been playing professional ball for 3 years. (I assume that was right after graduating from hs.) And now he's going to start taking CLASSES?? Funny. I wonder how long the NCAA will continue with this charade.

EDIT: I see cujaysfan had the same thought, but beat me by two minutes!

He'll be 21 on September 18th. And he's actually been playing professionally for 5 years.

There are a couple of Euroleague event writeups on NBADraft that mention Fedor. His name has been floating around for years, but it seems that his draft stock flat-lined in the past year or two. From what I gather, he seems to be a marginal prospect who could potentially move up to 2nd round status.

Someone on page 1 mentioned his defense is a concern, I've also seen repeatedly that his game is somewhat one dimensional (not a good playmaker).

All that said. Still a huge pickup. Borderline 2nd round players are still high major all-conference level players.

Finally confirmation from a basque language (Northern Spain) web site.
It doesn't mention Creighton, but states that he executed a clause in his contract that allows him to leave the team. If he goes to America to play in the NCAA.

Getting a guy this caliber this late is rare but exceptional use of the last roster spot

Unfortunately I never took Spanish:

Anything new here? It looks mostly like Fedor reporting to Creighton.

No need to remember your Spanish (or learn it). Your browser can translate the entire page for you at the click of a button. :D (It depends on the browser where this tool is located, but it should be fairly easy to find.) It's kind of depressing: no more need to learn new languages, read a map, do arithmetic, spell, compose grammatically correct sentences, know any history.....soon our brains will be completely superfluous. (Maybe we're there already.)

I have done auto translations on occasion but haven’t always found it easy to do and/or accurate.

By the way, my brain has been superfluous for several years already.
