Even while still in the MoValley, Creighton’s ceiling was much higher When Doug came to Creighton than Drake’s ceiling today in the MoValley sans Creighton and WCC. I get what Tucker could do for his dada at Drake. But, (1) if Dad has a couple of great seasons, he may be moving on to a bigger job, and 2) if Tucker wants to get to the next level, playing in the Big East will go a long way to getting him there. Not saying he can’t go to Drake and still get there. But . . . Then again, dad may rarely get to watch him play if not at Drake, which has to make the decision really hard.

Kid has a chance to help his family though. They all obviously saw how Doug affected his family/program. Sure it’s going to be a tough decision.

Mac sent his kid to UNI because he didn’t think he was good enough for Iowa State. Ras made a call and the rest is history.

Seems to me a parent should want his child to thrive on the biggest possible stage if he feels he can have success there.

Agree on wanting your son to play at the highest level, but think it was more than that for Mac -- things weren't good at Iowa State and he knew it, IMO

Iowa St offer tonight and he has climbed to 201 in the 247 composite. He isn't a fringe guy that we want b/c of a connection, legit high major prospect and it just helps that he grew up with the program and our scheme has a designated role for a good sized sharpshooter to open up the rest of the offense.
