Now that you mention it, we have seen a rather large spike in traffic from Asia today... :D

For the university and basketball program as a whole, it'll be interesting to see the effect Paras has -- if his fanbase is really as gigantic and passionate as it's said to be, having Paras in a Bluejay uniform will put a lot more eyeballs on CU games (and from geographic areas of the world where CU basketball was mostly unknown 24 hours ago).

But enough about that. Here's a YouTube interview just posted that has Paras discussing why he picked Creighton:

Unfreakingbelievable. This is awesome, welcome aboard Kobe. The Creighton family will be a perfect fit.

It might be the Jeremy Lin effect. If Paras even has marginal success at CU, there will be media and connections back to the Philippines for sure. Manny Pacquaio and Bud Crawford might be sitting side by side next season on the floor of the Clink.

Congrats to Kobe. Congrats to the coaching staff. Kobe should be a great addition to the team.

I love the way this kid attacks the basket with reckless abandon. Its It's been a long time (since Rodzilla probably) that we had a player who was that aggressive, with that size, who could finish in the lane like Kobe.

His coach says Mac told him Kobe is farther along than Doug was at this point. Mac must have been talking about dunking.
Also had nice things to say about Preston and Mac.

Another interview with Mike'l Severe, Khyri said Ethan has helped him with his shooting.

This might be the most accurate post in the history of the board from what I have seen so far. :D

I'm thinking Lawlors will be shipping some Paras customized jerseys to the Philippines soon.
