That's bc there is a Jays fan tweets multiple times a day at him. There might be others who are fans of other schools who do the same.

I don't know if this is necessarily true. I would bet your fear of being a fall back option is shared by many Jays fans. Some national recruiting experts think Tugs may have missed his window to chose AZ. AZ is still recruiting Cam Johnson (Pit transfer) and have 2 commits for '18 at a similar position. My guess is Tugs may need help turning down his hometown school in Sparty. Hopefully he can do the same as Ballock.
