Coach Mac, Coach Huss and Coach Miller all following Baylor now. I think it was recent. So, interest definitely there.

With the available scholarships, I don’t know how it would work, but if the Jays somehow land Baylor AND King? It may be too much for me.

Hawkins’ season and story should be a big selling point for anyone thinking of trying out a major conference for a last season. Sounds like he is hoping to go NBA instead of actually doing another year, but he would be a great addition.

Hawkins, Foster, Watson, Gibbs, Huff, Kreklow, Bahe, Echenique, others.

CU’s track record of having transfers come in and kill it is very strong. I list these specific guys because they enjoyed success at their first stops. We have had a few fliers that didn’t turn out, but Baylor isn’t a flier. He could realistically lead CU in scoring next year on a national championship contending team. That’s my pitch to get him to run through that wall.

Can't forget DJ! For anyone doubting the staff taking someone like FF, you should also remember DJ having very little production before transferring to Creighton.

Absolutely. I picked Hawkins because it was last year and he came “up” from D2, kind of like coming “up” from the Summit to the BIG EAST, to play and impact immediately. Guys like Foster, Gibbs, Bahe, Echinique all came from big programs and had to wait to make an impact. Mo is another good example, but he had to sit out and spend a year here first, too.

Our record with impact transfers is pretty dang good.

How does "Baylor going through the draft process" affect whether or not we take King? Right now it is two players for one slot, right?

I’ll bet we are taking King no matter what.
