North Carolina pushing harder now. Fred Hoiberg and the Huskers visited last week.

Right now, those are similarly-performing trash programs. Come to Creighton!

I haven't seen him linked to us in months so either he's not interested or we aren't interested, just my opinion...

Well well well, I guess we are still recruiting Walton:

Source: Creighton’s Greg McDermott will be in today for major four-star target and senior Kerwin Walton. He’s had Georgetown and Nebraska’s staff members in recently as well.

I wonder if Walton feels there won't be minutes here for him as a true freshman

he's such a perfect fit for our offense and such a good player that I couldn't see us not trying to land him. The numbers will work themselves out, but when you have a chance to get a guy who could be the TSA replacement, you keep recruiting him.

I almost posted after the Seton Hall game that I hoped he'd been watching out games recently, so much of what he can do fits perfectly into our offense

Primo is the number 1 target right now, but Walton would be a great get too

Is it for sure that Primo is reclassing to 2020? or is he still in 2021 for now?

I like Bates as well. The 2021 class is going to be huge for us. A big year this year and next by the team could open up some new targets as well

Write up on Walton from Corey Evans on Rivals:

"I caught up with Kerwin Walton last week and, sorry to tell you, nothing has changed since the early signing period. He has completed all of his official visits but he is in no rush to make a decision.

Walton even cited what Matthew Hurt, a former travel program teammate, did last year. Hurt waited out the college season, looked at what happened rosters around college rosters and assessed various systems and coaching types before committing. Walton will probably take a similar route.

A final school list has not been formulated but a group consisting of Arizona, Cal, Creighton, Iowa State, Miami, Minnesota, North Carolina, Texas and Vanderbilt remain involved. Arizona garnered most of the talk in the fall and while the Wildcats can be considered one of the leaders, predicting his ultimate landing spot has become more and more difficult the further away that he has gotten from his visits."

This come off as most PT at the biggest name brand, but maybe we have a shot if we make a run this year? Not super promising
