Nice thing is Mac no longer has to sell a dream that we can be a top 10 team. That is now reality. And he is as likely to play against top 10, top 25 and certainly top 50 teams night in and night out right here in Omaha then going all the way to a Duke to play. Granted BigXII schools are generally closer than BIg East teams, but it’s not like OU, OSU, Austin, Waco etc are short drives.

+1 . We are a destination school now that can win it all and take any athlete to the next professional level.

A poster on HuskerOnline said they heard Traudt would choose Creighton over Nebraska. Another poster said they heard he's leaning toward Creighton. Let's hope he wants to stay in state.

My elderly Pa and I watched GI and against Columbus tonight on NCN. Regarding IT I say YES PLEASE. He doesnt have alot of talent around him, but you can tell why he is ranked in his class so high. He brought the ball up the court most of the time and shot the ball really well tonight. Im thinking around 20 pts and 5 or 6 boards tonight in a low scoring/ slow it down kind of game. Not a ball hog and lets the game come to him.

Traudt, Miller and Kalkbrenner would be a hell of a lineup-- add in TyTy, Rati or Nembhard (and dare I say Sallis)......sky is the limit.
