Freddy,

I tried to do some looking around on this cat after we discussed him last time. At this point, I can't find any school that is recruiting him heavily. It seems like everybody that was all fired up about him has dropped off --- WSU, us, Nebraska and a couple of others. To me, it seems like one of three things has to be true:

1) Everybody overestimated his talent level and changed their mind after seeing more of him (Pretty unlikely IMO);
2) Some sort of academic issue is going on; or
3) there is some sort of injury situation that we haven't found out about.

Those are the only reasons I can think of that explain why a guy that was so highly touted drops off the radar all together....

The whole "committed to Cu" only to not be "committed to CU" dynamic bears a striking resemblance to the Teddy Hawkins situation.
"But I truly care about Creighton and the fans and what they've done for me the last three years. I want to give them one more year and take care of business in the Big East so we can prove people wrong.'' ---- Doug McDermott

Good luck to Gibbs, I'm glad we didn't get another 5'10 pg. Athletic wing only please....no more short PGs.
