He's a 4 star recruit.

Yeah I know. Kansas hasn’t offered. Plenty of 4 stars have went there and rode the bench. He’s a 6’5 volume scorer that plays below the rim. I think he’d be better off somewhere else.

Oregon coming to his next game. I am a little surprised we aren’t interested at least a little bit.

Dont know the kid but if you just peruse his twitter, I get the vibe that hes a me first type kid, maybe staff doesnt think he would fit culture wise? Just an opinion....could be completely wrong.

Why did it give you that impression? I'm curious, seems like his twitter is retweets of anything that mentions his name, or Lincoln North Star basketball which seems pretty normal for recruits across all sports. Didn't see anything problematic and even had an interview where he spent time hyping up Hepburn after they played.

If he can shoot the three ball sign him up if not, move on. Our system demands top quality three point shooters, give or take a player or two. Go Jays

I have yet to see us show interest and the current offers don't seem to match the list in that article. Doesn't mean they aren't there, but there are a lot of teams evaluating, but not necessarily having pulled the trigger yet. I can see why there's interest - he's long, physical and pretty athletic (if not super sudden on the court). He reminds me a bit of some of the guys we see at Xavier or Providence.

I thought his handle was pretty weak though at this point. His shooting was supposed to have improved, but I didn't see a ton of shots on film and those weren't super quick release or smooth (but not bad all in all). Is he a bit of a Jefferson kind of player? Maybe, but he does seem to need to ball in his hand a lot to produce.

Heard he de-committed from NU because he wanted to know he'd play early. That wouldn't be happening with us in 2020, so maybe better for all of us we haven't checked in

He’s not close to as athletic as Jefferson. Loves to go to his dominant hand on the drive. Good finisher but he’s a below the rim player. It’ll be a lot tougher vs college length.
