Alabama moved up from cool to warm yesterday on 247sports.
2 predictions also went to Bama.
Creighton is still listed as cool with no predictions.
It appears he is changing to 2020, which I think could hurt our chances.

Bama board seems pretty confident. They also said that they are full for 2020. Looks like they only have 1 senior and have 1 commit already. Maybe him moving to 2020 would be a good thing for us.

Not confident we get his commitment but it would be a really good situation for him. Come on and play 10 min a game, adjust and learn the college game. Then his sophomore year he gets the be the man on the wing with a senior point guard to make him play even better

Like we saw with the Kalkbrenner recruiting, there aren't a lot of services that give us a lot of credit in recruiting despite the fact that we've pulled kids away from top programs before. I sometimes wonder how much the number of fan subscribers to their service influences how they report on these things (or how highly they rank someone as well...).

We've made Primo a priority for us. I am pretty hopeful we can land him or Walton. If Primo is in 2021, I feel a bit better about Primo coming, if Walton signs up for 2020. Add in Bates and Sallis and DeVries and a bunch of other shooters (and a PG like Harmon?) and I feel pretty good about re-tooling, especially if we make a run in the tourney this year.

Another option here could be a top transfer like A. Jones where they can sit next year and work into the team and system before getting minutes the following year.

If it is truly us and Bama then I would feel better about our chances if he reclassified to 2020. We return a bunch of seniors next year while Bama returns sophomores and juniors. Path to playing time seems less muddled at Creighton. Just the way I would look at it. That’s how Mitch and Ty-Shon kind of did it. Feels like we are in 2nd at the moment though.

I don't think this is an example of recruiting services not giving us credit at all, and definitely don't think a Duke writer, a Tennessee writer, and two Bama writers all conspired to make crystal balls to Bama in the past 24 hours to generate clicks to the website. I would guess that there is some credible information that came out in the past 24 hours saying that he is a strong Bama lean at the moment. These things, however, are fluid. Writers can change their crystal ball up to a commitment and a CB isn't a death blow, only one of the writers has a CB percentage of over 80%.

I also don't think this is comparable to the RK commit. Kalkbrenner had 7 CBs and 4 different predictions, not 4 guys in a rapid span agreeing on a school.

I do agree I feel comfortable about retooling right now, especially if we make a run next month in March. Sitting firmly in the top 25 and in competition for the BE title has to have these recruits pretty interested, especially since most would be coming in and competing for a lot of open minutes in 2021.
