Lockett visited Marquette today so I'm assuming they are the front runner. Doesn't sound like Lockett is in the cards, I hope we can get Uthoff.

Marquette has 15 players (minimum count)... other walkons??
4 outgoing Srs. - 4 incoming recruits.
Doesn't appear they have a scholie available?

I'm sure Buzz will find a spot for him. In other words, someone will "choose" to transfer...

Lockett /Marquette links...
and talk of Lockett & Mom having lunch with Tubby Smith.
(no scholies at either school)

We need to secure a visit...to stay in the mix.

Milwaukee is approximately six hours from Lockett’s hometown.
Iowa State (3 hours, 45 minutes) and
Minnesota (20 minutes) are the closest schools that reportedly have shown interest.
Creighton is approx... 6 Hrs.
There are 292.43 miles from Omaha and Minneapolis and 383 miles by car.
Omaha and Minneapolis are 6 hours 12 mins far apart (by car).
Best Rte + Omaha to Des Moines, Des Moines to Mpls.

The issue with Marquette is that it currently does not have any open scholarships.
The Golden Eagles had 12 scholarship players last year, and with Johnson-Odom and Crowder leaving,
and Jake Thomas moving back to a walk-on role, four scholarships remain.

High school seniors Steve Taylor, Jamal Ferguson and Aaron Durley, and junior college freshman T.J. Taylor
have all signed national letters of intent to play next season.

Three possibilities could open up a scholarship for Lockett:

a current scholarship player transferring,
one of the four incoming recruits not attending Marquette,
or a current scholarship player not qualifying academically.

According to an ASU beat writer...Lockett is visiting ISU this week.
The writer also thinks the Zags are out of the running for Lockett.

C'mon Trent...visit the Hilltop too.

Trent visited Marquette last week and Buzz dumped an incoming signed recruit to make room
for him.

PS: Could both...? Nah, never happen.
Both Lockett and Uthoff snagged by the Mooer's? Nah... It's a strange, strange world we live in,
Master Jack. Nah...
