Not much video on him. This was all I could find of him vs. D-1 competition https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jsiwwWyJOE
It's apparent that he moves well on the block and has a nice hook shot a few feet from the basket, but notice that much of the highlights are against low major teams with the exception of Gonzaga.
Against the Zags he scored 11 on 5/7 from the field with 3 rebounds. Had a few nice post touches vs. Brandon Clarke. Fouled out in 13 minutes. Idaho State lost 120-79!
On the whole season he scored in double figures in only 14 out of the 30 games Idaho State played.
What to make of this? Your guess is as good as mine. I do know we need another big as a safety measure right now, but from what I've seen, I think if we'd need him to play more than Suarez type minutes that it wouldn't be a good situation. I mean he fouled out 13 times and 12 of those times were against opponents not named Gonzaga. If he's fouling out against low major teams, think about how he'd hold up against BE athletes. But again we need another body and if he's the best we can do, well you do it.

6'7 Forward. Appears to be a decent athlete and can throw it down for sure, but it's against the same low level competition as Jones.
Here's Walker's line. In 19 MPG he scored 6.9 PPG. That was on 52.3% from 2, 44.4% from 3 on less than 1 shot per game, .667 from the stripe on 1.9 FT per game. 9.7 rebounds per 40.
There are probably better grad transfers left on the market.

Not expecting any late addition to become a starter (unless Blackshear is a surprise addition), so getting 10+ mpg out of a Jones or other is good. Could be a pleasant surprise this late in the year for us.

The big question is what we can muster from Epperson, 20 mins, more? And how soon? He won't be practicing for the Aussie trip. Will he be ready for regular preseason practice?

We don't need another guard, but New Mexico guard Anthony Mathis has announced he is grad transferring. Might be someone to look at with 2 open scholarships? 42% 3pt shooter on 8 att per game

Mathis and Pritchard were HS teammates. Most think he will go hometown Oregon.

Well, no. You're probably not getting a grad transfer who can start, at least on our team as currently built. I'd be fine with us getting a bigger 4 that's a solid rebounder, even if they weren't a perimeter or even offensive threat, just to be able to throw out more size against your Georgetowns et. al. The coaches don't want to go that route, obviously. I just think that we could do better than Walker. His stats aren't impressive and while he's clearly a D-1 level athlete, I'm not convinced he's P5 level. Jones on the other hand might be the best option left on the big market since there aren't many out there period.

I'm hoping the coaches are prepared for Epperson to muster maybe 15 mins and maybe him not playing the first few weeks of the season. He's healthier than Martin, but the number of injuries and surgeries are concerning. We do need another 5 otherwise it's Bishop backed up by Mahoney or Jefferson. That won't work. And I'm not forgetting Zeil but to expect him to play his freshman year at the 5 spot, much less, is unreasonable. The coaches would probably prefer him to RS like they've done with our other walk-ons since we've joined the BE.

I doubt Walker has CU interest, probably only Kelvin Jones. Only made mention of the Canadian Walker as the Jones/Walker tandem has spent two years together_ at Odessa CC and at Utah St.

6'7 F from Boston U averaged 13.8 PPG last year, career 38% 3P shooter on 4.4 shots per game.

VC is listing him as a grad transfer, but might be a sit one, play one.

Has ten team list. We're not on it. Perfect fit for our system though
