The many who speculated that the Euro who committed to Indiana was doing so to a dead man walking were likely correct.

It no longer matters as long as the check clears.

Looks like the Jays are getting a visit from Serbian Pro Aleksa Dimitrijevic, 7’1 215. Not sure if he’s actually a 25 recruit, but he’s also visiting Michigan and Illinois. We need a big to help Fred out next year.

Good vid here. Has some post moves and lob catches that look something like Kalk but has more lateral ability. Nice shot too. Skinny as heck.

Yes please!!! Seems like a perfect center for the type of basketball the Jays play, although Fred would get mad if we got him.

Don’t let him leave the hilltop without a commitment, seems like the perfect type of player to replace Kalk

Not sure I see Fred getting mad. This kid looks like he'd need some S&C to be ready for full time play in the BE, but he could easily put in 10-15 minutes or even split time with Fred as a freshman. And King has yet to show that he can play and not foul enough to be on the court (although he's gone down from 5.9 and 6.0 fouls/40 to 4.2 this year, so he's definitely made progress there. But he will be in foul trouble and we will need a 2 person approach at Center

Plus, I would be shocked if we didn't go pursue a center in the transfer portal. Don't get your hopes up on this kid. Portal pieces are the priority.

I'd be curious to see if we take a position less approach next year at times. Traudt and Jasen I think could both play some 5 especially if we switch up from drop coverage to high hedging on ball screens. So much is up in the air though until the portal opens and we know what pieces we bring in.
