Also said that he will still be open to being recruited by other schools so this list is meaningless unless you are not on it. That being said, with Steere's commitment, are we still recruiting him? I assume so cause we will still be thin up front with Hegner and Suarez graduating but who knows...

Why would that make it meaningless if you aren't on the list? Isn't that saying exactly that if you aren't on his list he is still open to being recruited by you?

Why even bother with an announcement like this if you are going to openly say it means nothing?

Carrigan would give us two 5s to go along with our 4s - Martin and Ian. Could easily see a lineup of Jepperson/Ian and Carrigan/Ian. The kid is talented and would compete with Jacob Epperson for time in the paint - will make both better over time. Hope we get him.

Carrigan giving props to his AAU club BABC on twitter... Kid could become another Cliff Levingston (old WSU guy from the 80's and longtime NBA vet) or even another Ewing... He may be the best defensive ctr to come along in a long time (20 years) - definitely the best shot blocker in years. Carrigan has all the tools - mobility, defensive mindset, IQ, anticipation/positioning, heart, situational awareness, will-to-win, etc.

Hi/Lo post with he and Epperson... regular offense with he and Ian... Wow!

So, August 1 has come and gone. For us old guys who don't follow high school kids on twitter (or anyone else on twitter for that matter), anything ?

Technically, it's come but not gone. His twitter is pretty quiet, but he still has that "I will be cutting my schools list down on August 1st" tweet as a pinned tweet. Wouldn't be surprised if he came out with a pretty meaningless, yet conversation-starting list today. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if nothing at all happened.

Not really sure why I even follow college basketball recruiting with all this ambiguity....
