2016 SF Kobe Paras (Commit)

Here is what I don't get. The guy is very quick, has hops, has a really nice stroke, but is only #141 according some silly rating (247 Sports). I read somewhere that he was recruited by over 50 schools, making me think he is seriously under-rated by 247.

Also, as the kiss of death, 247 shows Creighton having a 100% chance of getting this recruit. Their accuracy is legendary.

I think he was an early commit to UCLA so at the time he only had a few other offers from some Pac-12 schools. As an aside, 247 finally changed the Creighton logo!

247 had him as a four star recruit, ranked #90 at time he signed with UCLA. I don't see anything in subsequent history to incidate why he would slip. I still think of him as a four star.

Any news from anyone in the organization? Reporters? Saw the visit but not much news surrounding it besides the Twitter posts. I'm loving our depth if we can land this kid.

Hi everyone i discovered the forum last week while doing my research of all the schools that offered Kobe since he decommited. The schools that offered since the withdrawal are Florida state, utah, Purdue, Oregon state, Colorado state, Virginia tech, ole mis and Texas tech. What I'm hearing right now you guys are the front runner to land him, I think he will be a perfect fit for you guys, offensively Kobe is talented he has a high basketball IQ and he is athletic. Defensively he has to improve a lot especially his lateral movement when defending quicker guys. He is a good kid he has like 700,000 Twitter and Instagram followers. We Filipinos will support him wherever he goes, we are a basketball country. I will not be surprise if all your games will be broadcast here in the Philippines. I hope he will be a blue jay and you have the best college home game atmosphere

If Kobe chooses Creighton you and fellow Kobe followers can buy Creighton gear online.
There are many Filipinos in Cali, Louisiana, and other states...Will they TRAVEL to see Kobe play? Creighton fans are well known to travel to support the Jays. Hopefully you and fellow Filipinos will join the travel group.
Foxsports is worldwide, so i would not be surprised if Fox ported Kobe games to the PI...wish they would port them down here too (I generally have to watch via online streaming video).
