According to ESPN Insiders report-

Tugs will make decision shortly after his MSU visit on the 29th. Article speaks specifically about MSU, Creighton, and Arizona, with MSU having the lions share of comment. Talks about the Jays "recent surge" and Coach Murphy's work in this recruitment.

Tugs: “He’s going hard,” Bowen said. “He played a big part in the beginning. I really didn’t know much about the school, but once started watching the games, I saw how their style of play really fit me. They get up and down the floor really fast; it’s a shooter’s program.”

Good article. My 2 cents: Brian is gonna be a Jay!

I know Texas has a hell of a class coming in next year but there recent performance (even from a coaching standpoint) would not instill confidence. Plus, it is Texas. :D

Tugs currently on his last visit. MSU playing Michigan today. Good atmosphere in East Lansing.

Don't like the sign that MSU is his last visit. Hoping they lose to Michigan today and Tugs picks the Jays tomorrow but I can't say I'm optimistic right now

My gut tells me he's gonna choose MSU. Especially after visiting his Twitter today.

One might question the time and effort put into a kid who really has been MSU's to lose from day one. But, I think Marcus Foster is exhibition A for why you do it. You never know what might happen between now and the end of Bowen's career. I hope Jays fans remember that if he does pick MSU this time. (I know most of us are gracious and respectful, but there are always those few, and we are going to see more and more of these recruiting battles with blue bloods in the future, IMO).

MSU extended another 2017 offer last night after Tugs' visit. They have room for both, but it is possible Izzo heard some bad news from Tugs yesterday and is getting desperate. I think Arizona is the one to beat at this point.

I do not have high expectations that we land Tugs. If he chooses Creighton, I will be ecstatic, but I have tempered expectations. Keep being in the top 3-5 of these types of guys and they will start to choose Creighton. It's certainly possible Tugs could be the first of these line of recruits.

I expect Brian to choose Creighton - for all the previously stated reasons... The other 4 schools are large "mills" and I think he comes here to the Hilltop due to our obvious differences from the other 4 (pace n style of play, good looking - diverse female students, BE basketball, passionate fan support, intimate-family environment, BE basketball, a growing elite program, best fit for him). Plus his Mom likes CU.

B A Bluejay Tugs...your best choice. ;)
