Ia Western Reivers... 6-11/250 Manny Ugboh. Nigerian transplant. Worth a look.

We haven't had good luck with Manny's (Suarez and Gakou come to mind  ).

You forgot to link the story showing CU interest and vice versa.

Waiting impatiently.

kid has a strange set of offers -- everything from Arizona, K State, and Ole Miss to Kent State, North Dakota, and Tulsa. So far as I can see there isn't any indication we've had any contact - probably a quick check in and neither side was interested.

Top grad and sit-out transfers list. Not a lot of names we're connected to.

Why are all of the "immediately available" guys eligible without sitting out a year? Brunk, for example -- why wouldn't he have to sit out a year wherever he lands? He's not a grad transfer, and most of the guys on that list aren't.

Brunk graduated from Butler in 3 years. Got a hardship waiver for one year. So he will be a sit-zero-play-two at Indiana. Entering IU law school.

Utomi, Moore, Pierce all went elsewhere. Not sure our engagement with those other than Moore, but likely a time to re-shuffle the deck in terms of who they are after.

A few names I think we go after:

- Sit 1 Play 2 scoring guard RJ Cole from Howard. Elite scorer, good all-around game. testing NBA. Needs to increase competition level

- grad transfer Matt Ryan. We discussed Ryan earlier. Quality Stretch 4. Recruited him out of high school. New Vandy coach Jerry Stackhouse wants to keep him at Vandy

- Sit 1 play 3 athletic wing Trace Ramsey from Maryland. Jays hitting Indiana scene hard (Huss & Lusk) Ramsey played next to none at Maryland. Seems to be a MVC level player. Seems like a stretch but Jays have reached out to him.

The idea fit for next years roster is Chris Clarke. He is the junkyard dog, lock down wing, gritty player this squad desperately needs. Not sure he's interested in being a 4 man though. Creighton was in on Clarke to the very end, and despite his recruitment being led by Lutz/Sellers, Mac got very involved.

As everyone knows, Clarke was suspended from VT last year. No reason was given, of course, but some VT fans believe that it was domestic violence related. He was also charged with marijuana possession in April. His teammate and roommate, Ty Outlaw, was first accused but it was later determined that it was Clarke's.
The latter really doesn't bother me, but the former does if it's true. Regardless they're both red flags.

So who do you recommend we go after?
