While I don't think we necessarily go out and grab an impact player for next year, there are still plenty of sit-out transfers out there and probably more to come. There are also JUCOs and other uncommitted 2019 recruits (redshirt candidates however) we can go after. I doubt we don't use up one of our two open scholarships even if its on a player who doesn't have a big impact (aka Manny Suarez or Conner Cashaw).

Well, grabbing a cashew or manny type player is essentially being done...also using up scholarships on lesser caliber players that would be here for 2+ years just for the sake of filling a scholarship would be a very unwise move and I don't think the staff would do that.

Never said lesser caliber. Just said not going to make an impact next year either by redshirt or being a sit-out transfer.

Ten are ranked in the Rivals 150, of which 8 are Top 100, 5 are Top 50. Oldest offers are Robinson-Earl and Harvey, the newest are C Koloko and SG Terry Armstrong.
The selection process will be intriguing given we will only have 2 or 3 open scholies

10 Wings
4 PFs
4 PGs
2 Ctrs

Wings - Harvey (41), EJ Liddell (43), Terry Armstrong (86), Jaykwon Walton (125), AJ Lawson, Ismael Massoud, Quincy Guerrier, Alex Hemenway, Majok Deng, Mike Moreno.

PFs - Robinson-Earl (16), Akok Akok (92), Tre Mitchell (106), Zeke Nnaji.

PGs - Carton (30), Watts (67), Sedrick Hammond, Thomas Faber.

Ctrs - Kofi Cockburn (31), Chris Koloko.

Wow, 0 out of 20 signed with CU.
Looking at Verbal commits, the Jays have offered 22 players for 2020, including 5 PF's and 5 C's
Hopefully we do better than zero this time.

Whatever happened to Harvey? Didn't he head out west to a prep school. Did he ever commit

I don't believe he has, but we're not in play regardless.

False, he reclassified to 2020. Hosted Creighton for an in-home visit last September. Creighton, Kansas, Oklahoma, Gonzaga, Nebraska, and Arizona St considered front runners.

I'm sorry but I don't think you're correct. He hosted us before he reclassified. See viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4169&start=80
Since then there's no evidence of any activity between us and him. No visits in-home, unofficial, or official. No report of our coaches attending his games. Or at least I'm not finding any.
He didn't even list us by name in this December interview. https://www.cbssports.com/college-baske ... ch-harvey/
Considering how long we've been on him, would you not find it "odd" that he wouldn't mention us if we were still recruiting him?

Additionally, Tempo has him listed as "not accept" on the scholarship matrix, too, which further indicates to me that we're no longer involved.

We haven't been in the running for Harvey in quite some time.

Are we still in the running for any 2019 recruits or transfers? I haven’t seen our name mentioned with anyone for quite some time. But, we obviously still have roster needs, especially if Martin leaves (as is expected).

Why is it expected now that Martin will leave?

I suspect our recruiting strategy would look a lot different if we thought he was not going to be here this fall.

If Martin is back, I think it makes sense to hold onto the last scholarship for next year. More people will have graduated and more playing time will be available

Nope, correct. Creighton has been out on him for months.
