Says who? How would you know this?

I have no idea - but it would make a lot of sense for them to come watch a top ten matchup while they are so close. Seems plausible.

I am more amazed that Mike Miller has a basketball tournament that is actually legit.

Bowen making an unofficial tomorrow per Evan Daniels on Twitter.... Man this is a big recruiting day and I can't think of a better crowd experience for them to see. Can't wait!

The coaching staff wanted it kept quiet. That is why I posted that. The Tugs heads will be there also.

Could someone with a premium scout account give us a rundown on the article?

I checked 247 and I don't see anyone predicting Creighton -- which means we still have a chance

Don't have a premium account, but the full article is in the source code for the page. Since I got this without an account, not taking info from my paid access and then posting it, I'll leave it up to the moderators to delete if necessary.

Tugs gives a short couple sentences for each school, saying nice things about them. Says he is still planning to decide by the end of January.

Here is the Creighton part:
Over the weekend, Bowen, accompanied by his teammates and parents, took another trip to Creighton. This one was an unofficial visit for their showdown with undefeated Villanova.

“It was really good,” Bowen said. “I got to see the crowd really live, they were playing the number one team in the country so everyone was really live and wanted to see how they’d play against the number one team in the country, so I really enjoyed my visit overall.”

What has Creighton’s pitch been to the five-star wing?

“Really just come in and be a big time scorer,” he said. “You know, making a bigger impact on a smaller level school as they said. You know just really making a huge impact with the couple guys they had committed already, going there and being the leading scorers, coming in there right away.”
Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose!

Even though he said "as they said" ... Smaller level school. Ouch.
