I've assumed that if Mulder wanted to be a Jay, he could do so at any point. I really hope that the staff isn't waiting to see what Marcus Foster wants to do. The team needs instant help in order to have a better chance of not returning to the BET play-in game. Mulder and 1 transfer sounds good to me if Piv's allusion to a possible walk-on situation materializes. If no one's walking on, I think Mulder is needed more than Foster or Custer (assuming that neither Foster nor Custer are planning on paying their own way while they redshirt).

Regardless of what the cheerleaders on this board say, the difficulty we've been having most every time another high major gets involved with a recruit is tiring and probably does cause some of us to overreact when we see stuff about new schools a couple weeks after a visit was made.

I suspect if Mulder was going to commit, he would have by now. Think we've got an uphill battle but hopefully I'm wrong!

Exactly. Now, I have no idea what will happen with Mulder and Foster. But history hasn't exactly given us reason to be totally optimistic regarding the way the Mulder recruitment is going.

Side note: has the Championship Center been worthless in terms of recruiting? Or is it just a pretty average building by major program standards? It doesn't seem to be swaying anyone.

Pretty much the opposite feedback. All teams and staff that have seen it ( including NCAA teams in Omaha) couldn't believe how nice it was! They were all impressed. We are all hoping that translates into some commitments.

I think it swayed the likes of Mo and Cole and the incoming freshman.

Ah ok. Honestly was just curious. It seems like a pretty darn nice facility to me, but I don't know how other schools compare.

I find it hard to believe we are waiting on one before making a decision on the other. If we could somehow get both, we would take both in a heartbeat.
