Well it's real quiet on the recruitting front. Either we're waitting til spring or we've got someone we don't want anyone to know about.

Question?

What is the story on Soma Edo?

A 6'5" athletic slasher who has been projected as a PF/SF. At his height could also
play the SG. Supposedly a good-to-great defender as well. Are grades the issue here? He is still on the boards and I believe we offered him. I am shocked he is still available.

Wow. HTA has been busy as heck posting new potential recruits for 2014 through 2016. The coaching staff are looking at a bushel of kids. That begs the question...how many rides are available.

If the "Dad" is issued for KYH, Jorgenson, or other 2013 recruit, we will not have an available scholie for 2014 as we already have two verbals.

2014 PG Nick Norton, Missouri
2014 SF Ezra Talbert, Kansas

The coaches will have to begin "adopting" recruits for 2014 or use the "Recruited Walk-on" tactic to make extra room.

Based on the current roster it appears we will have 3 spots open for 2015
We will have 4 Centennial recruiting billets open for 2016.

Thanks hilltop for the updates. I'm glad we have more options with Harris and Lee getting the offers they have.

We need ATHLETES in the worst way...slashers, perimeter defenders, scorers

Does anyone recall the name of the big kid from somewhere down in SE Nebraska? I think he is a 6'10 sophomore and remember reading something about him awhile back, but haven't heard anything for awhile.

Nebraska City has a 2015 6'8'' Center Tanner Breazile who plays with a very talented Mo-Kan Elite AAU squad (same program Dingman is from)

Not saying the kids we have recruited, are recruiting, or have committed already aren't talented or worthy of a Creighton scholarship, they have clearly made Creighton what it is today. But I would think the staff may sit tight for a liitle bit here to see if we end up in the Big East as we can finally test the theory that recruiting would step up a notch if we were in a big boy league and we can get in the door and stay there with the Top 150 type players. Just a thought.
