Cashaw had put it together by the end of the year. He was one of the final 5 on the floor at the end of our games. He was a lot like Bello I think. But since we were expecting him to be “the guy.” We were disappointed. I wasn’t as I saw coming in he was more a floor general type player. The pass was more on Mac for telling him to throw it up to Martin. Should have had Martin run back toward Cash and dish it to him there.

This game still eats at me. With .8 seconds left and up 3 points, they could have thrown the ball directly to a Marquette player under the basket and won the game. There wouldn’t have been enough time to “steal” the ball and pass it out to the 3 point line for a shot.

Toughest loss I have ever watched.

I am still surprised he didn’t play at all.

I think the surprise is that he clearly didn't show what he'd shown at Memphis or in HS on the court last year. Yes, he didn't earn the minutes with his play, but there was reason for optimism given how he played at Memphis

He had 15 minutes a game on a 26 win Memphis team (24th in AP), so I think it's surprising he didn't show up and contribute something here

No. His defense looked suspicious in the Bahamas.

Dotzler couldn't grasp the offense so he sat, easy as that. Few times I watched Lawson he appeared lost.
