I really hope we get something going on the recruiting trail soon. A rather positive end to an otherwise disappointing season is starting to get awfully murky with Sam's departure and Martin's status to return uncertain, we really need some front court depth...badly.

According to Bossi... Caleb Grill has visited KSU, will visit ISU on Tues, and Jays on Wednesday this week.

Today is national letter of Intent signing day. Recruits now have until May 15th to sign before fall semester.
It would be a huge surprise/shock if anyone signed with the Jays today.

Jays really need to get after some bigs, with only 2 injury prone guys returning along with Chris. Can Jacob & Martin make it through the 2019-20 season. Jucos/grad transfers/something?

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

C’mon now. Pumped we have our nucleus back next season. But, um, don’t know if it’s its ever been this quiet with regards to visits, rumors, maybe’s or signings. I’m sure staff is working it. But...

It just seems quiet when the Omaha Weird Herald has nothing but husker article after husker article after husker article, ...
We now know everything about each of their head coaches, any transfer or recruit who even mentioned Nebraska, even if it was "Nebraska who?"
Heady is already pushing an article for Sunday's rag. I'm guessing it will be the sperm count of each new coach.
I hope the Jay's are posting ALL of these articles, or at least the discrepancy in numbers between each program.

This season was quieter on the recruiting front than any I can remember, too. Part of it was definitely an effort by the staff to stay out of the light since the Bowen stuff broke and the other was the benching (and now suspension) of Murphy which has kept our primary recruiter on the sidelines. Both are still going on, actually.
It's frustrating as a fan not seeing any commits while other teams are getting LOIs and verbals and at the same time seeing little action in terms of visits and offers from our staff.
I'm holding out hope perhaps delusionally so, that once the Tristan domino falls that things will shake out quickly and that by mid-May we'll have a fuller roster going into next year.
