Apparently cut his list today to Creighton, Oklahoma, Indiana, South Carolina, DePaul and Bradley.

Nice! Think our biggest competition there is Indiana and obviously DePaul, being a Chicago kid.

Has Indiana offered him? Haven't seen that anywhere.

Someone else just tweeted that they spoke to him and he has NOT cut his list down......and the guy that tweeted that he cut down his list just said Iowa State is still recruiting him....lame, back to square one.

ESPN has Josh at #99 in their latest rankings. But it didn't have Creighton listed under the schools showing interest. I know that that doesn't particularly matter, just wanted to provide an update.

Josh's recruitment has been a bit of a disappointment. When he came for his visit I was pretty excited because it seems like we moved to the Big East and it already paid dividends because we got a big time recruit to visit right away. I figured we've now got the facilities being built and a major conference to go along with everything else we've always had so I figured we've got an excellent shot. Since then he hasn't exactly sounded too excited about us even going so far as to even seemingly forget that he visited here in one interview.

The good thing is that he's kind of a luxury recruit at the moment and no longer a need. If he were a point guard then it'd really be disappointing.

There are about 5 or 6 other fan bases that feel the same way. I'm not taking it personally.

I am actually thinking he's got his head on his shoulders. He is doing his due diligence on each school and not making a rushed decision. In the instant gratification age we are in right now, I think he's doing the right thing.

Of course I want him to be a Jay, but I think he is handling the process appropriately.

If Freddy Mac and Tru Blu Jay are correct I wonder if the cooling of affections might be mutual. Some years ago I watched a similar scenario play out with a QB recruit that Michigan had been hot on and at the end of the day the Wolverines had signed someone else and the QB target went to a different university in no way near the same quality conference.
