Yeah -- think he was headed to Providence until Cooley went. And Providence fans are convinced (rightly or not) that Cooley was in contact with him about going along to Georgetown before the end of the year and before he accepted the Georgetown job -- basically accusing him of recruiting for Georgetown while still being the head guy at Providence.

He's not a bad player. I think he will have a lot of interest. He just needs some structure.

Pardon if this was discussed somewhere, but we are currently at our scholarship max, correct? We get the one back coming off of NCAA probation next year, but have Dotzler coming in and no one yet confirmed going out with Bello staying for his extra year of eligibility and Baylor still with a year of eligibility and undecided. More than likely, of course, that we will have somebody depart, but until we know for sure, we won't be signing any transfers (officially, anyway).

Think that is correct. But, you have to think the coaches know something already about roster turnover.

Last year we were a scholarship over our allotment for a bit of the summer until Rati decided to go pro. You'd have to imagine the coaches will have a good pulse on things here pretty quickly (at least for the non-starters who might be weighing going elsewhere) and will respond accordingly. Things are going to be in flux for a bit - I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up over allotment at some point (especially with our season ending much later than most).

That's right. I forgot about when we were over last year and there was all the speculation about if the Millers would pull a McDermott and pay Mason's way for a year.

Thanks.
