oh my taking me back now. Back to Friday night post high school game activities. Moved from the cornfields to the Joker Lounge. Met a lot of nice girls over there.

Help me out here... what was the name of the bar about 2 blocks west of Nuncio's on the southwest corner of Cumming and Saddle Creek... The Starlight?

It was a big SAE bar I think. And Nuncio's was the Phi Delt bar?

My fav was always the I Phelta Thigh bar. :D

SAE was Starlight, Nuncios was Phi SI ( or however they spelled that name)!

Coach Barone spoke at a Bluejay fan get together at the Starlight back when he was running the show. I remember him correctly bitching about all the Husker spring football depth chart coverage in the OWH during basketball season

Yeh, I chose to leave that part out. Sounds better, albeit common alternatives for a poor college kid like me were Falstaff longnecks and plain label “Beer”. So wasn’t really digging much deeper for a Schlitz. The old beer taste buds weren’t quite as refined in those days.
