Offensively, he looks like he can attack the basket and score in the lane right now. He wasn't a shooter at Syracuse, but he was a scorer in HS who could shoot from 3 back in HS.
Will we play some 5 out this year? Hawkins may be able to be a 5 like that.. think it all depends on if we land a good backup big man for Kalk
Yup, and honestly we need to stop playing 5 men like Bishop unless a similar player is at least 6'9". I'm not saying go back to the Echenique type center...it's good to have guys that are athletic rim-runners but they have to have the requisite size to play the center position.
