It looks like we're recruiting like we have 4 spots open

How do you figure this? They are recruiting many, heck you could say they are looking to fill the whole team.

I think he's going off of the different roles/positions that we're looking at?
Enaruna, Pierce, and maybe Yeboah look to be guys we'd play as stretch 4s.
Moore, Milon, Crowley, and Windham look like guys we'd play at the wing spots.
And then the traditional transfers Notae, Tyson, Easley look like wings as well.
That's really more like 3 spots, though. Stretch 4, wing that can play immediately, and a sit-out wing.

I am surprised that we aren't hearing anything about bigs. Hopefully that means that Martin will end up staying and that Jacob is making progress. It could also be that the grad transfer big market isn't great (which it usually isn't).

That's how I'm looking at it. I think they want to land someone who can fill the need at the 4, someone to play immediately with some experience and a true frosh wing to start filling the hole when Mintz graduates and balance out the scholarships a bit.

Agree that I hope this means Martin is back, but like you said, the transfer big market is always limited!

Good thing is that we have a solid roster coming back so we can be highly selective with our scholarships. To me that stretch 4 is the priority that we have to fill one way or another. The rest to me break down to best player available... to loop back to Windham, he's a long athletic kid who can handle and shoot. He would fit nicely into our roster as he can match up to a lot of guys defensively and looks to be someone who can get up and down the floor. I can see why they are interested

This kid definitely fits our style of play and will have time to develop. It would be nice to add a 4 man and a guard that can get to the rim for the other two spots.

Agree. I really like this kid. Long and athletic, can do a lot on the court and can shoot from the outside. Definitely a high major (no idea why he ended up at Georgia Southern at first).

Other than that, we have a need at the 4 -- Enaruna is the guy there, I hope, but another name that re-opened his recruiting due to coach changes was Jake LaRavia. Purdue and Mizzou showing interest, among others. 6-8 and can shoot it. Wonder if we reached out...?

Last spot could be best player available. A grad transfer can play immediately next year, though, so could see that being the priority.
