Based on what I'm seeing on Twitter (so take it for what it's worth) he's Dukes to lose if they offer him a scholarship. Even tho he more than likely will be coming off the bench with their recruiting class coming in and substantial playing time isn't gauranteed.

what is the point of going to one of these schools if its not obvious that you'll be competing for minutes? how many guys have we seen that go to one of these programs and just ride the pine all the way to irrelevance. the JUCO guard that chose kentucky a couple years ago comes to mind. if you choose one of those schools as a mid major transfer, and you don't have a clear path to a starting job after sitting out and practicing with the scout team for a year, why would you go that route? it makes no sense to me. you're taking huge risk that Coach K or Self will take a chance on you over their newest McD AA, who is probably more naturally talented than you.

That's why they call them dreams. And some players don't pan out as projected (see Kaleb Joseph) and others exceed the expectations people had for them while in High School (ala Doug McDermott).

That is great news. Hope he has a wonderful visit and CU becomes his home for a year. Go Jays!

Duke fans seem to want him pretty badly.
