What a week. Great job done by the entire staff. So if we use two more this year then we're down to one next year. Lutz won't know what the heck to do with just one spot to fill. It will be fun to see who's next but it's been a great week to be a Bluejay Fan. Go Jays!!!

Count me out as one who would like to see Chrabascz take one of the remaining ships.

If you look at the roster above, we're filled with great shooters and "solid" athletes. For us to really compete on the next level, we need to ink a super athletic wing player in the 6'4" to 6'6" range and a 6'9" shot blocking, rebounding beast for the remaining 2 scholarships (i'm including using the Dad scholarship or the likelihood of Doug leaving).

I love both of the current pickups, but we now need to find the athletes that can lock down on "d" and rebound like crazy.

The future is very bright.

Ha, I don't actually have any info. We're just on such a run. I'll edit. Didn't mean to tease people.

For the Record: IMO Jeremy Morgan is a great fit. From what we`ve been told Hassan Martin is a great fit also.
Either would be welcome.

However - Nevin and Avery are already onboard. Nevin is projected as the hyper-athletic wing and defender. Avery
will also do a standup job at the SF. Now we've added Darian Harris, who can play the 1-3 spots. I'm not convinced
that we still have a big hole at the SF spot. If Martin or Morgan commit, then fine.

Otherwise another C/PF would seem welcome.

So it's 4 in 4. Sure is going to be a quiet summer next year. Let's hope we 2 more great players for 13.

It appears that 2013 is well underway recruiting-wise.
Whomever else we pick up will be icing on the cake.

As long as we hold a 2014 spot for Reid Travis...I am happy.

Totally agree that individually all of these guys are outstanding pickups and I'm very excited about the skill sets. I'm a little iffy on the 2014 guys given that we don't know what holes we'll identify after another season of evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of each player and how they fit as a team, but there's plenty of time to sort that out.

If you look at our roster, it's filled with shooting and I'm excited to see what Nevin brings to the table as well as how Avery develops, but you can never have enough athleticism and toughness on a team. Look at the just completed NBA finals series...the key difference in the game was predominantly Miami's toughness, defense, athleticism and ability to get to the rim that separated that series from the jump shooting style (with the exception of Westbrook) of OKC.

We've got the shooters across the board...fill in with rebounding, slashing, defensive animals for the remaining 2 slots.

Iowa State just received a commit from Monte Morris, 4* PG (per Scout.com).
Seems that opens the door further for us with NYC PG Samuels.
When will Martin and Samuels visit?

It appears we are about to fall off the list w K Harris.
