So basically there are combined two left for 2013/2014 and 2014/2015.

By the 2014-2015 season, Doug is gone either way. How many do you get a year, 14? This is how it will look if none of our players transfer or leave for other reasons.
1.Will Artino Sr.
2. Geoff Groselle Sr.
3. Avery Dingman Sr.
4. Austin Chatman Sr.
5. Nevin Johnson Sr.
6. Andre Yates Jr.
7. Isaiah Zierden Jr.
8. Toby Hegner So.
9. Darian Harris So.
10. Nick Norton Fr.
11. Ezra Talbert Fr.
12. _______
13. _______
14. _______

That's 3 spots to fill. If I did all this correctly :D

Since they only get 13 and presumably they would add one, if not two more in 2013 that would fill it all up. Even if Doug stays and Coach pays the way, he would be taking up the 2014 ride. So its 2 more spots over the next two years.

What is really nice about this is now all their efforts can be put into landing those last two guys. I'm sure the staff is really excited to have the four on-board they have and now they can find those last pieces that will fit perfectly.

Welcome Ezra. Wow what a week. So we are done for 14. That is just unreal. Ezra hope you can see a few games over the next 2 seasons. Good luck and we will see you in June of 14. Go Jays!!!

We aren't necessarily done for 14. It depends on if Doug is a walk on/lottery pick next year. They could just go one in 2013 and one in 2014.

Guys: The math is you can have 14 scholarship players, by the 2014-15 season we currently have 11. That leave 3 spots to fill with (I believe) space for a 2013. We have some flexibility on that number if Mac decides to pay Doug's way for the next two years. That effectively raises the number to 15. But every year we are limited to 14 scholarship players.

That isn't correct. The maximum number of scholarships you can have is 13.

When I look at what Ezra can do with taking the ball to the hoop and his mid range shot vs what Dane could do as a freshman it seems to me Ezra has far more to offer. I.m not knocking Dane he was a very good Jay, just love the more rounded game of Ezra. I just say this because I hear some don't like the last 2 commits. They are both soph. and show very rounded games and both could grow. Go Jays!!!
