Most importantly Ryan Hawkins brings the confidence, swag, and calmness of a proven winner to the table. He will be a stabilizing force, along with our current juniors to a very young team. A guy who will bolster our winning culture with proven success. I look forward to seeing which other upperclassmen transfers the Jays bring in. Gonna need Antwaan, Shereef, and AOC to step up as leaders.

Sr - AOC Wing
Sr - R Hawkins PF
Sr - ? Transfer
Jr - Antwaan J Wing
Jr - Shereef PG
Jr - ? Transfer
So - Kalk Ctr
So/RFr - Modestas PF
So/RFr - Rati CG
Fr - Mason M PF
Fr - Christofilis Wing

W/O - Devin-PG, Sami-SG, Merf-SG

Only dire need is for a backup Ctr...

This year didn't count.

O'Connell and Hawkins will be seniors.

Jones and Mitchell will be sophomores again.

The rest will all be freshmen. Even Rati and Modestas will still have a redshirt available because this year didn't count.

The free pandemic year is going to cause havoc for rosters over the next few years until all the pandemic players cycle out of the system. Juniors, sophomores and freshmen will all get the same decision to make as this year's seniors at the end of their four years.

My guess is both Nova and Kansas offered Ryan or at least were ready to offer if Ryan had any interest at all. Ryan is too good for any team not to offer if that team came calling this late in the recruiting of transfers. Kansas fans assume Kansas did not offer because they can't accept bruising their ego.

I feel like Hawk's game is tailored to the 3x3 format.
