Free-scoring combo guard from Texas has been linked with Jays early. His recruitment is beginning to pick up as Creighton, Michigan and Okie State are buzzing around Bieniemy. Lutz has been hard on him for awhile. 6-4 scorer who can also handle. Smooth game.

I expect the Jays to be involved with Jamal. He has not released any lists of schools he's been in contact with, but with our openings in the backcourt moving forward and his ability to play and defend multiple positions 1-3 he would be an excellent fit here.

Yeah, we definitely need another guard that can play right away. I like our lineup as is with Jones replacing Alexander but we are limited depth wise now and we all know how injuries impact Jays teams (although I guess he would need a waiver or the transfer rule needs to change).

i'd like Jamal esp as a sit our guy. He's a very fine player all around and but his shooting % have dropped. a year off in the gym to correct with our staff might work wonders.

Saw this a few days ago. It must not have been a committable offer at that point. Will we turn up the heat now? Either that, or these other schools are a lot more appetizing to him than they are to me.
