Well, there's the offer for Wur. I guess we'll see how this plays out.

Thanks for the update, I would be surprised if Wur didn't accept CU's offer as he used the word excited not that it means anything because I am usually wrong. but I am assuming he has followed CU for a few years as a local kid , it will be interesting to see if he takes his trips to Hawaii and Oregon before he accepts any offers.

I heard his interview with Severe today. Really well spoken young man. Said that he’ll be taking visits over the next 2-3 weeks and then decide so he can attend the second summer session wherever he goes.

Lok (pronounced Luke) was heading from the interview to Creighton to play with the team. He said Mac met and talked with his parents yesterday. Lok said his host dad coached Altman in high school and that getting a call from Dana was the one that surprised him most.

Altman is 61 how old is his host dad? Great news for the offer I think could be a great one to grow under our system

Don’t want to speak too soon, but just judging from his reaction on twitter, it seems this one is a done deal. Seems he’s one of the top 2019ers still available. Better than nothing IMO.

If nothing else, this will continue the trend of being able to land top local kids. Sallis, Hepburn, take notice!

He is a legit 6’8/6’9 and moves pretty well. He’s still raw IMO, but if he chooses CU I hope we maximize his potential and he can contribute here.

Yes, he went to his share of CU games when he was younger.

Papio South's Lök Wur gets offer from Creighton, but is taking recruitment 'one day at a time'

One thing that shows up here is that Creighton's coaches have put in the preliminary work on recruiting Wur in case he got eligible and in case he got to where they wanted him to be in order to offer.

I've searched in vain for a thread that talked about him a few months ago. There was a report that we were looking at him and (I think) the center/pf from central (Tonje?). IIRC people were confused as to why we were looking at this guy --- Anyway, at the time I liked his film and potential. He's got a ton of potential as there just aren't that many guys who can move like that, who have some ability to play as a wing with some decent shooting and handling skills, and who are that tall and with that kind of wingspan. Our coaches saw that and had him in to take a longer look, and that was quite a while ago.

i'm hoping he wants to be a Jay. I love the potential and think he can help the roster pretty quickly, and his potential is is huge. We want a stretch 4 who can play on the wing and maintain spacing and who can match up defensively with a variety of players -- he could be that guy in a year or two....

Until shown otherwise, I'm convinced that nobody knows and evaluates the Omaha players better than the Creighton coaches
