In today’s game, versatility is one of the most sought after attributes among colleges looking at high school prospects. Dubuque (Iowa.) Wahlert Academy 2016 Power Forward Cordell Pemsl has a skill set that programs are sure to be lining up for.
Creighton is already one of those programs. Offering the sophomore forward earlier this summer, Pemsl received his first opportunity to play division one basketball.
“It was a great experience,” Pemsl told NY2LASPORTS.COM Monday night. “It just motivated me to keep working hard and pushing myself.”
Pemsl attended Creighton’s camp and received the offer roughly a week later.
“I like the environment around the facilities,” he said. “They have great facilities. I love Coach (Greg) McDermott. He’s a great coach. He knows what he’s talking about. He motivates his players. It’s just all around a great place.”

Whatchu think bout Creighton Hoops?
Love it. Great environment and a place anyone should dream to play. Coach Mac is not only a good coach but a good guy. Along with the rest of the coaching staff.
