Jays interested in 2015 combo guard from Wisconsin. Noskowiak seen as one of the top guards in class. Same high school as current Nebraska verbal commit Nick Fuller.

Saw this on Twitter as well. I have a question, in the recruiting world if you offer 4-5 guys for 2 spots and if you have 2 early commits that may not be as big time and say a 3rd big time recruit decides later in the process he wants to play for that team. Can you release one of those commitments? i know it sounds confusing...

The reality is, the team holds all the cards and can release anybody or refuse to honor their offer at any time. Whether or how much you do that is completely up to the coach. Of course, if you do it too much, you will start scaring kids off.

I wouldn't say the school holds all of the cards. Kids these days change their mind the day before signing day leaving schools with a void to fill.

Sure, but after signing day the kid is stuck while the school can still do whatever.

Anyway, with Nick getting this offer today, hopefully that means that the staff really likes how his game will translate to the BE.

Stories show a heavy lean toward Iowa State. Hopefully we can show him that playing on in the east and Madison Square Garden trumps playing in the "Texas and their lil buddies" league.

Kinda looks like Edward Furlong (Edward Norton's little brother in American History X)

update from swish n dish

He can combo skills, can push it in transition and is a solid passer in the open court or dribble drive. He has a high basketball IQ, and can knock down open jumper or finish drive on offense too! He has offers from Iowa State, Creighton, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Northern Iowa.

Day 2

Noskowiak started slow against the Celtics, but showed his resolve and his leadership presence, steppingup to hit four 3‘s and 17 points in the second half to help his team to the win - He was sensational and finished with 19 points total.

Day 3

The young point guard who always seemed calm and collected was just awesome Sunday. Noskowiak hit three’s, distributed the ball to teammates on point and drove to the basket with strong finishes all game. On top of that, his defense was stellar as well. Noskowiak finished the tournament with a 23 point effort.
