I think we are all expecting this tournament in Lawrence to be a battle and it is definitely starting off that way. The first set of Kansas v Purdue just finished up with Kansas taking it 31-29. Kansas fought off 5 set points before finally winning on the set on their 2nd set point opportunity.

Kansas won in 4. They're a much better ball-control team than Purdue (Kansas is 2nd in passing among top 25 teams behind Nebraska, Creighton is 5th) and had HCA.

It's nice when other teams have radio broadcasts. UNI had one last weekend too.
I'm not a fan of ESPN+, but radio gives you a little information like challenges which you don't get on stat tracker

Not to mention the 5 kills and 6 blocks. Favorite moment was Kendra getting called for a violation on a setter dump (which they are usually very lenient on) and then immediately dumping again the next play.

Jays dominated every facet of the match today. You could basically highlight any player after a performance like today. Kendra's line for the weekend is absurd and same goes for Norah. Kiara and Jaya were both very efficient when they got set which was a big lift for Creighton this weekend.

Excellent win! Great rebound weekend from last week's heartbreakers. The only thing that could have gone better today is a few fewer service errors other than that a great match.

That might be the high point of the regular season. Big East offers matches against 35 Marquette and 48 UConn, and nobody else under 100. I wish the league would pay attention to volleyball. Pretty sad when the sport is exploding in other conferences.

The Bluejays learned from their close losses against top 10 competition last week to look dominant this past weekend against top 10 Purdue and Kansas.
